Responsibilities
Advise on a wide range of commercial contracts (supply, services, technology, IP, outsourcing, SaaS, framework and strategic partnering agreements)
Draft, review and negotiate complex contracts
Manage client relationships and contribute to long-term partnerships
Collaborate with colleagues across DWF’s commercial and sector teams
Support business development and knowledge sharing within the team
Prioritise tasks to meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality service
Develop technical and commercial knowledge through training and industry awareness
Key requirements
A qualified solicitor with experience in commercial contracts
Strong drafting and written communication skills with negotiation confidence
Commercially minded with ability to understand clients’ business objectives
Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
Self-motivated and performance-driven with commitment to high-quality legal advice
Team player with collaborative approach and willingness to learn
Desire to develop skills and progress within a growing national practice
