Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private clients and serve as primary point of contact
• Deliver a mix of personal tax compliance and advisory work
• Identify tax planning opportunities and assess broader tax risks for clients
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Manage workflow and ensure HMRC deadlines are met
• Review the work of junior team members and provide guidance
• Collaborate with the wider tax team on complex client matters
• Monitor portfolio performance, productivity and profitability

Key requirements

• CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
• Experience managing a portfolio of private client tax matters
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax
• Exposure to both compliance and advisory work
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to research and interpret complex tax legislation
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues
