Overview

In this role you will lead on-site delivery for a main contractor on a small-scale residential project portfolio in North West London and Hertfordshire. You will oversee demolition through to handover on a 2-year Local Authority framework for 10 homes, coordinating a dynamic team and external stakeholders. You’ll work largely independently, applying strong site management to deliver on time, safely and to the required quality. This is a growth-focused, family-run business offering a permanent role with a car allowance package and a clear career path.

Responsibilities

• Oversee demolition, groundworks and through-to-handover activities on residential sites
• Manage on-site activities and personnel with strong supervisory focus
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance on site
• Coordinate with client, design, and subcontractors; maintain site documentation
• Monitor progress against program and report to senior management
• Maintain site records using office IT tools (Excel/Word)
• Support smooth handover and close-out of projects
• Strong self-motivation and initiative on a smaller-scale build environment

Key requirements

• Experience on smaller-scale, new build residential projects for a reputable main contractor
• Self-motivated; able to work on own initiative
• Excellent managerial skills
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification
• Good written and verbal communication
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word (or equivalent)
