Overview

In this senior role, you help UK SMEs secure the right finance by guiding them through applications and connecting them with a broad lender panel. You will build strong relationships with lending partners and clearly articulate Funding Options and its finance products. You will use your business finance knowledge to match customers to suitable lenders, staying data-informed and industry-aware. You join a high-performing sales team focused on delivering a five-star customer experience and driving growth.

Responsibilities

• Engage and manage Small Business customers through the application process
• Build and maintain relationships with commercial lending partners
• Articulate Funding Options proposition and available finance products
• Leverage extensive business finance knowledge to match customers with suitable lenders
• Maintain accurate prospect information in Salesforce and keep profiles updated
• Monitor market trends and enrich customer profiles in Salesforce
• Stay informed on industry trends, market and competition
• Share success stories with the wider organization through communications channels

Key requirements

• Experience in Commercial Finance Brokerage or customer-facing sales role
• Track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Results-oriented with high attention to detail and drive
• Outstanding customer service mindset
• Strong organization and analytical abilities; able to work under pressure
• Self-starter who works towards targets and drives execution
