Factory Manager (Nights - Sunday to Thurs 22:00pm-06:00am with flexibility)

Overview

In this Factory Manager role, you lead a fast-paced chilled food operation, driving safety, quality and efficiency. You’ll own operational KPIs, partner with the site leadership team, and shape continuous improvement using the Greencore Operating System. You’ll ensure food safety, performance against customer expectations, and collaborative problem solving across the site. This is a chance to influence manufacturing strategy and deliver impactful improvements at scale.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment by deploying the H&S strategy and leading safety meetings
• Lead quality, food safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards with audit-driven improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally on quality plans and capital justifications
• Translate manufacturing strategy into actionable operational plans
• Set manning, recruit, train, and manage performance
• Use KPIs to drive improvement and cascade metrics
• Review manufacturing plans to optimize resources and efficiency
• Support NPD feasibility and successful product launches
• Maintain effective two-way communication across the site and align with stakeholders
• Model values, foster positive employee relations, and support union partnerships
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities and support capital investment
• Deploy and coach the Greencore Operating System
• Lead Top Loss and Kaizen performance activities
