Technology Risk & Controls Engagement Lead – Vice President

Overview

In this role you collaborate with stakeholders to identify and evaluate cybersecurity and technology controls, aligning with the firm’s risk strategies. You drive timely, consistent regulatory responses and provide senior management with insights within the risk appetite. You’ll shape the approach to Cybersecurity and Technology Controls and support a strong risk culture, contributing to a secure, compliant digital banking environment and cross-functional transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits, testing and regulatory activities with timely, accurate responses and traceability for senior management and regulators
• Identify, assess and manage cybersecurity and technology risks within the 1LOD framework and coordinate remediation plans
• Partner with 1LOD risk/control, cybersecurity and tech teams to conduct risk reviews and control assessments ensuring policy alignment
• Prepare and deliver risk reports and governance materials for senior management forums
• Contribute to transformation opportunities in regulatory engagement and 1LOD control management via innovation including AI
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and communicating technology risks
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve shared goals
• Identify gaps and suggest improvements to strengthen risk posture
• Analyze complex data to provide risk insights and support mitigation implementation

Key requirements

• 5+ years in technology and/or cybersecurity risk and control management with regulatory compliance in financial services
• Demonstrated ability to navigate and collaborate in a large organization
• Strong analytical skills and interest in AI to support 1LOD risk management
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and industry standards
• Commitment to continuous learning and developing risk skills
