In this role you will lead the Market Drayton Depot logistics team to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-efficient operations. You’ll partner cross-functionally to meet KPIs and OGSM targets while enhancing customer service for internal and external stakeholders. You will drive continuous improvement and foster an inclusive, wellbeing-focused culture. This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear impact on efficiency, safety, and service in a leading dairy business.

Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems
Manage depot operations including rota planning, staffing and cost control
Deliver against KPIs and OGSM targets
Drive customer service excellence for internal and external stakeholders
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
Ensure legal compliance for drivers and vehicles
Conduct performance reviews, training, and disciplinary procedures
Drive an inclusive culture and promote wellbeing, diversity and inclusivity at site level
Key requirements
Proven experience in senior-level transport operations
Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
ICT proficiency and data-driven decision-making skills
