Overview

In this role you will join Bidwells’ Investment and Property Management team to apply accounting expertise to property investment and portfolio analysis. You will move beyond traditional reporting to model, appraise investments and analyse performance that informs client decisions. The position sits at the intersection of finance, property and investment, offering broad commercial exposure and influence on portfolio insights. You will work with cross-functional teams to shape how data drives investment decisions.

Responsibilities

Prepare accounts, forecasts and quarterly reporting packs for client committees
Analyse portfolio performance and monitor against budget
Build robust financial models to assess investment and commercial business cases
Appraise development opportunities, capital expenditure projects, acquisitions and disposals
Assess returns using IRR, NPV and cash-on-cash measures
Run sensitivity, scenario and risk analyses
Translate complex financial data into clear commercial insights for decision-makers
Use data visualisation to present portfolio performance
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and analytics processes

Key requirements

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
strong Excel and financial modelling capability
ability to build models from first principles
comfortable analysing performance against budgets and explaining commercial implications
proactive, collaborative approach
ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial audiences
genuine interest in property and investment
experience with property/investment/corporate finance is advantageous
experience with Power BI, MRI or Argus is valuable
