Associate Director, Client Services - IQVIA Medical Communications

Overview

In this role you drive growth, quality and client relationships for selected accounts within IQVIA Medical Communications. You lead a team of Account Handlers to deliver excellent programs and expand business, aligning with the broader IQVIA and IMC mission to transform data and insights into impactful medical communications. You operate cross-functionally to secure revenue, optimize pricing, and ensure high client satisfaction. This is a strategic, client-facing leadership position with a clear impact on account performance and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial performance of assigned accounts, including growth, revenue, profitability, forecasting
• Design and implement Account Growth Plans to drive organic expansion and new business
• Collaborate with Business Development to integrate IMC growth objectives into larger IQVIA plans
• Oversee cross-sell opportunities and expand client relationships from clinical study support to Medical Affairs Communications
• Ensure accurate forecasting, invoicing, revenue recognition and project close-out for allocated accounts
• Support strategic pricing initiatives; incorporate IMC services into IQVIA pricing tools across R&D, Real World Solutions and Commercial Services
• Serve as senior strategic partner to clients, cultivating procurement relationships and handling negotiations
• Lead business development proposals and bid defenses to increase portfolio revenue
• Maintain knowledge of therapeutic landscapes for client accounts and studies
• Attend conferences/site trainings to identify new business opportunities
• Collaborate with IQVIA BD teams to advocate for IMC services in proposals, budgets and contracts
• Line manage and develop Account Management team, ensuring resource planning and optimal utilization
• Map stakeholders and build internal subject-matter expertise for IMC within IQVIA
• Foster collaboration with internal delivery teams to improve efficiency and quality
