Audit Assistant Manager

Accountancy Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Audit Senior or Assistant Manager opportunity on behalf of our client in Portsmouth.
Working with a diverse regional client portfolio (inc. SMEs, OMBs and Groups), involving a mixture of external audit, accounts and business advisory work.

The Role:
Assisting in managing a varied portfolio of clients
Leading/ managing external audits from planning to completion
Preparation/ review of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP and FRS102
Managing teams of junior staff
Providing assistance with technical queries
Business advisory work
Client meetings
Assisting in business development
Building strong client relationships
You:
ACA/ ACCA Qualified
ACA/ ACCA Finalist/ PQ also considered
Experience of leading audits from planning to completion
Practice experience is essential
Good working knowledge of FRS102
