As Procurement Manager, you’ll join Edinburgh’s forward-looking procurement team to lead tendering, award, and contract management across key categories. You’ll drive savings and cost efficiencies while supporting Strategy 2030 and the university’s global research profile. You will engage with diverse stakeholders to deliver innovative, fit-for-purpose procurement solutions aligned to institutional objectives. This role combines transformation momentum with constraints and opportunities across a £1bn university landscape.

Responsibilities
lead end-to-end tendering, award and contract management for procurement projects
drive strategic initiatives from market engagement and spend analyses
deliver cash savings and cost efficiencies supporting financial wellbeing
engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
contribute to service transformation and alignment with University objectives and Government policy
exercise initiative and discretion on strategic procurements
maintain supplier relationship management and contract performance oversight
utilise eTendering systems and perform detailed financial and analytical reviews
