Overview

As an English-qualified solicitor with 6+ years PQE, you will lead real estate finance matters in London, focusing on LMA-based facilities for development and investment across domestic and European markets. You will advise lenders, agents, servicers, and cash managers on REF-backed transactions, including securitisation. The role supports growth of the agency/servicing practice while remaining adaptable to borrower-side work. This is a pivotal senior position in a expanding REF team during a period of growth for the firm.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate LMA-based real estate facility agreements (investment and development)
• Advise agents, security agents, servicers and cash managers on REF-backed transactions
• Work on a range of real estate financing across development and investment sectors
• Support growth of the agency/servicing practice and collaborate with London and other offices
• Possibly switch to borrower-side representation as needed

Key requirements

• 6+ years PQE
• English law qualified solicitor
• Experience on lender/creditor side
• Proven deal management skills
• Experience with LMA-based facilities
• Knowledge of REF financing including direct lending, back leverage, securitisation
