Senior Change Orders Associate

Overview

As Senior Change Orders Associate, you will lead budget development for Change Orders within clinical studies, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely budgets. You contribute to commercial and operational success by coordinating inputs from Business Development, Finance, Contract Development, and project managers. You manage the budget lifecycle, identify issues, and present cost analyses to stakeholders. This role offers impact in advancing CRO-backed clinical trials and medical innovations, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead budget development for Change Order budgets and ensure timely finalization
• Coordinate input from Business Development, Finance, Contract Development, and project managers
• Manage the budget development lifecycle throughout the study
• Identify, assess, resolve, and escalate issues impacting budgets
• Prepare resource/service fees using algorithms and spreadsheets and support departmental cost reviews
• Present Change Order budgets to customers when required

Key requirements

• Undergraduate degree or international equivalent in Sciences or Business Administration/Marketing
• Minimum five years of relevant industry experience, including at least three years in budget development
• Understanding of CRO services and clinical trial processes for Budget preparation
• Strong mathematics and basic accounting/finance concepts
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
