Overview

In this role you will support EU markets across payroll, mobility and immigration to ensure operational excellence. You will partner with EU HR teams and payroll specialists to manage expat payroll and related governance. Based in Central London, you’ll collaborate with regional teams to drive accurate payroll processing and timely reporting. You will contribute to policy, systems and process improvements, while ensuring compliance and data integrity. This is a hands-on, business-facing role with a focus on delivering reliable, scalable payroll services for EU markets.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end payroll process for EU markets as part of the payroll chain
Collaborate with EU markets Payroll Partners and HR Managers
Execute controls of payroll files throughout the payroll cycle
Manage payroll for expats, coordinating with tax advisors and mobility partners
Validate and approve payroll data within the payroll chain
Manage salary payments, taxes, social security and related payments for EU markets
Produce month-end and quarterly payroll reports for Finance
Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll issues
Lead payroll, mobility and immigration governance, audits, and continuous improvement
Provide strategic input into EU-level policies, systems, and tools
Oversee immigration processes for expats entering or leaving EU markets

Key requirements

Payroll management experience in high-volume environments (1000+ employees) with 3–5 years
Strong knowledge of payroll, taxation principles, and expat rules
Experience with expats, global mobility and tax advisors
Fluent in English
Excellent stakeholder management and customer service mindset
Discretion, confidentiality, and accuracy
Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to meet deadlines
Strong numerical skills, Excel proficiency, and HRIS/payroll system knowledge (Workday, Work Force System)
