Capital Markets Operations Analyst

Overview

In this role you contribute to the growth of a mission-driven electric vehicle financing business by owning the end-to-end production of investor reports, facility tracking, and data tapes. You will support securitisation and cash operations, covenant monitoring, and data reconciliations to keep funding facilities on schedule. You will work closely with Finance, Data, and Operations to optimize reporting processes and drive scalable improvements. This position offers hands-on exposure to complex debt facilities and real impact on capital used to power EV adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end production of institutional investor reports and related data tapes, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Manage facility utilisation tracking, loan-level data tapes, and reporting deliverables directly
• Validate cash sweeps, rental fees, termination totals, and buyback settlements across securitisation structures
• Maintain asset lifecycle trackers to provide real-time visibility of reserves and borrowing base capacity
• Monitor covenants and performance triggers, flagging breaches to the team
• Lead reconciliations between granular data and facility reports, supporting investor audits
• Collaborate with Finance, Data, and Operations to validate data workflows in Databricks and drive process improvements

Key requirements

• Degree in Finance or related discipline
• 1–3 years in finance or roles working with large datasets
• Experience building/auditing spreadsheet-based models and trackers
• Ability to own a reporting deliverable from start to finish
• Self-driven problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new financial structures
• Clear written and verbal communication, comfortable presenting to internal stakeholders
• Genuine motivation to apply finance and technical skills to a business funding EV transition
