AI Scientist

Overview

In this role you will advance our AI-powered fintech platform, applying hands-on Python engineering to real-world workflows. You’ll contribute to production-grade AI systems, including chatbots and document parsers, to automate customer interactions and back-office tasks. You’ll own end-to-end solution delivery from discovery to monitoring, working in a small, autonomous Growth & Analytics team. This is a chance to shape scalable AI capabilities that directly impact customer experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Improve chatbot quality and expand autonomously executable account actions
• Extend in-house document extraction pipelines for speed and accuracy
• Design LLM-driven workflows to simplify case management
• Identify opportunities to replace manual work with AI systems
• Own solutions from discovery through deployment, evaluation and monitoring

Key requirements

• Strong engineering skills and experience building production systems
• Hands-on experience using LLMs in real workflows
• Experience designing and improving prompts, retrieval pipelines, agent workflows and evaluations
• Understanding of business processes and judgement about where AI can automate them
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, test hypotheses and progress with partial information
• Clear communication and ability to explain trade-offs and influence stakeholders
