Associate Director, Credit Distribution

Overview

In this role, you will help mitigate risk, optimise assets, and recycle capital while supporting new origination through strategic solutions. You will work with the Credit Distribution team to manage risk and drive value across portfolios, focusing on structured finance, real estate, and syndicated facilities. The position emphasises structuring originated assets for optimal distribution and capital treatment, with ongoing duties around distribution strategies and agency activity. Collaboration across divisions and data management will underpin your day-to-day impact in a fast-paced, innovative lending environment.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate risk and enhance existing assets while supporting new origination through strategic solutions
• Support the Credit Distribution team to manage the risk profile of the book
• Handle Portfolio Solutions, Agency, Structured Finance Syndications, and Sub-Participations with third-party lenders
• Engage in Credit Insurance and Asset Sales activities as part of capital optimization
• Support forward-looking origination strategy across Structured Finance and Real Estate (syndicated facilities)
• Ensure originated assets are structured for maximum future distribution options and capital efficiency
• Oversee day-to-day management of distribution strategies and agency activities for syndicated facilities
• Collaborate cross-division on Structured Finance deals, Real Estate, and data management activities

Key requirements

• Quantitative Degree / Similar business qualification or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in bank-lending or similar with a focus on structured finance or real estate
• Agency experience would be considered a positive
