General Manager, Global Risk Insights

Overview

As General Manager, Global Risk Insights, you will own the strategic direction and commercial growth of Dow Jones’ geopolitical risk content and advisory business. You will unite content, analytics, and advisory capabilities across legacy and acquired assets, driving revenue, product innovation, and client value. You’ll lead cross-functional teams to scale solutions for global enterprises and engage C-suite and regulatory stakeholders with credible, data-driven insights. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how Dow Jones informs risk decisions at the highest levels.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the multi-year geopolitical risk strategy for enterprise products, content, and advisory services
• Own P&L, set growth targets, and expand global enterprise client base
• Oversee product roadmaps, content frameworks, and analytics methodologies
• Act as a public thought leader and advisor to executives, government bodies, and regulators
• Build and harmonize cross-functional teams across research, sales, marketing, and product to maximize scale and margin health
• Lead partnerships with key industry stakeholders and risk consultancies
• Drive operational efficiency, standard workflows, and scalable delivery across functions
• Mentor and develop team members to foster excellence and high performance
• Support the Global Horizons conference to boost engagement and commercial value

Key requirements

• 15+ years of progressive executive leadership in geopolitical risk, international security, intelligence, or enterprise risk management
• Proven track record of scaling B2B businesses and delivering revenue growth
• Deep domain expertise in international affairs, regulatory trends, and risk forecasting
• Experience in digital product innovation, enterprise software/SaaS, or strategic content solutions
• Excellent communication and executive presence with C-suite advisory experience
• History of leading matrixed, global teams through growth and transformation
