Senior Revenue Accountant

Overview

In this Senior Revenue Accountant role, you will own revenue recognition in a fast-growing SaaS environment and drive IFRS 15-aligned processes. You’ll partner with Deal Desk, Sales Ops, Legal, Product, and Finance to optimize the revenue engine and implement automated systems. Your work will span complex contracts, high-volume data, and cross-functional governance to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls. Responsibilities

• Ensure IFRS 15-compliant revenue recognition
• Analyze contracts and add-ons to determine revenue treatment
• Manage complex SaaS revenue scenarios in a high-volume data environment
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual close related to revenue
• Develop SQL-based data extracts for revenue closing and reporting
• Automate reconciliations between source systems and the general ledger
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Maintain internal controls and documentation; support audits
• Collaborate with Deal Desk, Legal, Sales Ops, and Product on revenue matters
• Participate in revenue recognition system implementation and configuration
• Develop and update revenue recognition policies and controls

Key requirements

• Minimum 2 years in revenue management or technical accounting
• Strong IFRS 15 experience
• Experience at major international firms preferred (assistant manager/manager level)
• SaaS or high-volume data audit experience valued
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent); MBA a plus
• Data fluency with SQL; understanding data structures
• Ability to query data with AI-assisted methods; analytical mindset
• English fluency; strong communication and stakeholder management
