Sharp Talent is recruiting on behalf of Control Flow Technologies for an experienced, outgoing Field Customer Engagement Officer to join its Cambridge team.

This isn't a traditional hard-sell sales role. You'll work on behalf of a major utilities company, visiting residents to explain water-saving services, carry out simple assessments and arrange appointments for improvements.

You'll combine door-to-door canvassing with pre-booked appointments, so confidence approaching people and working independently is essential.

The Role

• Visit residential properties across Cambridge and surrounding areas

• Speak with residents about water-efficiency services

• Complete straightforward property assessments, with full training provided

• Arrange appointments for suitable improvements

• Record information accurately using a tablet

• Work towards daily activity and appointment targets

What's on Offer?

• £30,000 guaranteed annual salary

• Occasional campaign bonuses (depending on company performance)

• Permanent contract directly with Control Flow Technologies

• Two long weekends off in every four-week rota

• 33 days' holiday including bank holidays

• Mileage allowance of 55p per mile for daily travel to/from site exceeding 20 miles

Working Hours

Working hours are generally 9am–5pm, with occasional weekend working required (one Saturday and one Sunday per month).

The four-week rota includes two long weekends off, either Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday.

What We're Looking For

• Previous door-to-door sales or canvassing experience – essential

• Confidence approaching residents and starting conversations

• Friendly, professional communication skills

• Self-motivated, reliable and comfortable working towards targets

• Ability to work independently and outdoors

• Full UK driving licence and own car – essential

• Willingness to complete a basic DBS check
