Lead a High-Profile Facilities Management Contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contract Manager to join a well-established national facilities management provider.

Responsible for a multi-site portfolio across Brighton, Crawley, Chichester and Horsham , you will oversee the delivery of soft FM services including cleaning, grounds maintenance and bulk waste collection , ensuring exceptional service standards and client satisfaction.

The Role

As Contract Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of the contract, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations.

You will lead and develop site-based teams, manage client relationships, oversee budgets and drive continuous improvement initiatives across multiple locations.

This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness and a hands-on approach to contract management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of multiple soft FM contracts across the region.
• Lead, motivate and develop cleaning and grounds maintenance teams.
• Ensure service delivery meets contractual KPIs and performance targets.
• Manage contract budgets, forecasting and financial performance.
• Conduct regular audits, site inspections and quality assessments.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, residents and stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries and service issues.
• Monitor workforce performance and support training and development initiatives.
• Produce operational reports and performance updates.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience managing soft FM contracts , particularly cleaning and grounds maintenance services.
• Experience managing contracts valued at £1 million+ .
• Strong operational and people management experience.
• Budget management and P&L responsibility.
• Experience overseeing multi-site operations.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
