Technical Lead Manager, Digital Wellbeing, Android

Overview

Lead the Digital Wellbeing engineering team to advance AI-driven solutions that address global user wellbeing. You will define technical strategy, drive execution, and cultivate a high-performing culture across cross-functional partners and Android teams. You’ll architect AI initiatives for the hardest wellbeing problems and ensure scalable, quality delivery. This role blends technical leadership with stakeholder management to make a meaningful impact for 1B+ users.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape the Digital Wellbeing engineering team and its technical strategy
• Drive execution across cross-functional partners and Android teams
• Architect and deliver AI/recommendation solutions for Digital Wellbeing challenges
• Ensure processes, code quality, and architecture scale with advancing technology
• Manage internal stakeholders and coordinate across sites internationally
• Oversee large-scale projects and budgets across multiple locations
• Contribute to product strategy and foster team development and culture

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of software development experience
• 5 years of experience building and deploying recommendation systems models in production
• 3 years in a technical leadership role overseeing projects
• 2 years of people management or team leadership experience
