As a Senior Estimator at Clancy, you will lead the preparation of competitive, first-principle estimates for water utility and civil works across clean water and wastewater schemes. You’ll collaborate with bid, operations, procurement and planning teams to shape robust tender submissions and ensure commercial viability. Expect to own complex tenders from enquiry to handover, mentoring juniors and guiding risk and methodology decisions. Responsibilities
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and client requirements
Attend site visits to refine scope and delivery constraints
Prepare first-principle estimates for self-delivered water utility and civil works
Develop production rates, resources, methods and programme assumptions with cross-functional teams
Coordinate supplier and subcontractor enquiries, review quotations and ensure commercial robustness
