Collateral Product Owner & Project Manager

Overview

In this role you shape and run the collateral operating model across cleared and bilateral derivatives. You’ll partner with Front Office, Risk, Technology and Operations to deliver strategic collateral roadmaps and regulatory change. You’ll lead large-scale change programmes and drive efficiency, automation, and scalable processes. Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the end-to-end collateral operating model for cleared and bilateral derivatives
• Define and deliver the strategic collateral roadmap aligned to regulatory needs
• Lead collateral-related change initiatives (EMIR, UK EMIR, UMR, clearing expansion, technology transformation)
• Collaborate with Investments, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Technology and Operations to achieve business outcomes
• Enhance collateral processes, controls and workflows for efficiency and scalability
• Oversee governance, risk management and regulatory compliance for collateral services
• Manage relationships with clearing brokers, CCPs, custodians, counterparties and industry vendors
• Monitor collateral performance and key controls to drive continuous improvement

Key requirements

• Extensive experience in derivatives and collateral management in asset management, investment banking or custody
• Deep knowledge of both cleared and bilateral margining models
• Proven track record delivering large-scale operational, regulatory or technology change programmes
• Strong understanding of EMIR, UK EMIR, UMR and derivatives regulation
• Experience working with CCPs, clearing brokers and collateral optimization
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence at all levels and solve problems cross-functionally
