Overview

As a Senior Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Practice, you will lead and contribute to MSc Advanced Clinical Practice programmes, including direct-entry and apprenticeship routes, and support related curricula. You will teach, assess and mentor learners, focusing on clinical skills, simulation, and workplace-based learning, while collaborating with partners to shape curriculum and research activity. You will lead modules or programmes, contribute to quality assurance, professional development and enterprise initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to influence student experience and advance evidence-based education in clinical practice.

Responsibilities

deliver teaching, learning and assessment for MSc Advanced Clinical Practice programmes and related modules
contribute to clinical skills and simulation teaching and support workplace educators and assessors
lead modules or programmes and participate in curriculum development and quality assurance
support continuing professional development and wider enterprise or research activity
collaborate with colleagues and practice partners across the university and clinical settings

Key requirements

substantial experience in teaching, supporting and assessing learners in advanced clinical practice or healthcare education
relevant degree in Advanced Practice or Advanced Clinical Practice; HE teaching qualification or commitment to achieve
ability to lead module/programme development, delivery and quality assurance
strong communication, relationship-building and mentoring abilities
experience with workplace-based learning and assessment
