A well-established, growing contractor based in South Gyle is looking to add an Estimator to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with some estimating or construction industry experience who is looking to develop their career with a supportive, close-knit business.

This is a predominantly office-based role, so you'll be working from the South Gyle office day to day, with occasional travel required, so a full UK driving licence and access to your own car are essential.

The Role

• Preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, from initial enquiry through to tender submission
• Working closely with the CAD team to interpret drawings and specifications
• Sourcing pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• Supporting the wider commercial team with measurement and take-offs
• Building strong working relationships internally and with clients

What We're Looking For

• Some experience in an estimating, quantity surveying, or similar construction role is ideal, though this is a junior-level position and full training will be provided
• Comfortable working with CAD packages, or willing to learn
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail
• A proactive, organised approach and good communication skills
