As HSEQ Manager you will oversee health, safety, environmental and quality practices across multiple UK sites within a leading structural engineering business. You will maintain robust management systems and drive continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with relevant standards and legislation. You’ll lead client-facing discussions and support project teams to sustain high safety and quality performance. This role offers impact across schemes in energy, infrastructure and industrial manufacturing, with travel to project sites.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver HSEQ requirements across several operational sites
Maintain and improve HSE management systems aligned with OHSAS 45001:2018
Ensure ISO 9001:2015 quality standards are met and drive process improvements
Lead and participate in client-facing meetings to promote transparent communication
Monitor on-site HSEQ performance to support safe, efficient working environments
Provide guidance to project teams and subcontractors on safety and quality standards
Support development of policies and procedures to align with current legislation
Act as focal point for all HSEQ matters within the organisation
Key requirements
Proven experience in HSEQ management within construction or engineering
Strong knowledge of legislative and regulatory compliance for H, S, E and Q
Experience managing multiple sites and ensuring consistent HSEQ protocol application
Excellent communication and leadership skills with client-facing confidence
