Senior Environmental Underwriter

Overview

In this role you will grow and manage a portfolio with key brokers and clients within Chubb's Environmental practice. You will underwrite new business and renewals in line with guidelines and local plans, while supporting broker education and cross-selling. You will help develop environmental product offerings and collaborate across teams to improve retention and growth. You will represent Chubb to brokers and clients, ensuring compliant, timely quoting and documentation. This position sits at the core of the Environmental team, shaping risk solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new business and renewals per guidelines and budgets
• Education and engagement of brokers through meetings, presentations, and training
• Assist product development to improve retention and win new business
• Represent Chubb to brokers and clients; manage producer relationships and cross-selling
• Ensure policy documentation and quoting meet company standards and compliance
• Maintain ongoing external and internal contact with clients and major accounts

Key requirements

• Experience in Environmental, Casualty, Energy, or M&A Transactional Risks within insurance or related Environmental fields; or background in Environmental law or consulting
• Strong presentation delivery skills
• Results-driven with ability to work independently
• Recognized professional status externally
