Technology Risk and Governance Analyst

Overview

In this role you will support the technology risk and governance framework to ensure risks, controls and regulatory activities are managed and reported effectively. You will work with Technology leadership and risk owners to maintain a strong control environment through risk assessments, policy reviews and audit support. The role focuses on coordinating risk activities across risk, change, outsourcing and supplier governance to enable timely remediation and regulatory compliance. You will help drive continuous improvement in risk controls and reporting, contributing to a robust technology risk posture.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Enterprise Risk Management Framework within Technology
• Maintain the Technology Risk Register with accurate risk, control and action documentation
• Facilitate risk and control reviews with Technology management and risk owners
• Assist and conduct risk assessments for technology initiatives, changes, outsourcing and suppliers
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits
• Review and update policies, procedures and departmental registers
• Support outsourcing and procurement processes with risk assessment and onboarding
• Assist with regulatory GAP analyses and reporting

Key requirements

• Experience in risk, controls, audit or governance roles
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, controls and remediation
