Overview

As a placement intern in Economic & Financial Consulting, you support industry research, economic analysis and financial modelling on complex questions. You will collaborate with managers in small teams and gain exposure to leading valuation and damages experts. Expect hands-on training, rigorous analysis and clear communication of results. Your work will help inform disputes, regulation and market insights at a global advisory firm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial models using Excel and finance databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ)
• Apply econometric analysis with statistical software on industry data
• Research companies, markets or geographies to identify relevant industry features
• Review regulatory landscapes and relate findings to client industries
• Summarise work in emails, memos or slide decks and present conclusions
• Take responsibility for the quality of the final product

Key requirements

• 2:1 degree or higher (or equivalent)
• Available to work full-time Sept 2027–Aug 2028 in the UK
• Numerate, logical and inquisitive team player with independent thinking
