Senior Business Development Manager, Online Platforms

Overview

In this role, you will drive API-based payment solutions for large enterprises and fintechs through Wise Platform in EMEA. You will shape product strategy and help scale partnerships across Europe, translating market momentum into repeatable growth. You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Eng, Compliance, Legal and Implementations to close complex deals. The position offers an entrepreneurial path, either leading a team or operating as a high-performing IC, focused on strategic partnerships with Europe’s top platforms.

Responsibilities

• Shape product strategy and roadmaps in collaboration with ProdEng
• Uncover and capitalize on new revenue opportunities for the platform in EMEA
• Drive cross-functional deals with Product Management, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Implementation teams
• Lead or contribute to securing partnerships with major enterprise platforms in Europe
• Own and build a strong pipeline for complex, high-impact opportunities

Key requirements

• Minimum 5 years of payments experience with international payments for major enterprise platforms in EMEA
• Proven track record in developing and executing growth strategies that boost revenue
• Deep knowledge of the financial services and regulatory landscape in EMEA and its impact on international payments
• Strong negotiation skills with ability to secure favorable terms while maintaining product vision
• Hands-on, collaborative approach to leading discussions and pipeline development
• Comfort with both technical aspects of the Wise Platform and commercial/legal discussions
