Manager, Global Contracts Negotiation

Overview

In this role you will lead GC pre-qualification and end-to-end procurement for Google’s global infrastructure projects, shaping commercial terms that align with Google’s risk appetite. You’ll act as a financial architect across the portfolio, driving budget forecasts and cash controls, while coordinating design milestones, site due diligence, and equipment lead times. You’ll manage OFE lifecycle and contract administration to shield programs from supply chain volatility. This role blends strategy, negotiation, and cross‑functional delivery to support Google Cloud expansion.

Responsibilities

• Lead GC pre-qualification and end-to-end procurement from RFP to contract execution
• Develop high-fidelity parametric budget forecasts and implement cash-flow controls
• Craft integrated schedules aligning site due diligence, design milestones, and equipment lead times
• Manage Owner-Furnished Equipment (OFE) lifecycle from sourcing to on-site delivery
• Oversee on-site agreement administration support and manage scope amendments, change orders, and dispute resolution
• Negotiate and protect Google’s rights with consistent contracting terms across projects
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to build a delivery ecosystem
• Maintain deep knowledge of construction agreements (design-build, design-assist, design-bid-build) to inform contracting strategy
• Monitor performance against operational metrics and drive corrective actions
• Present deal recommendations to Tech leadership to enable infrastructure scale

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience leading negotiations or business development
