Overview

As Commercial Claims Associate in our Manchester team, you will set up new claims, direct inquiries to the right handling teams, and communicate with customers and brokers in a professional, timely manner. You will maintain accurate records in claims systems and support administrative tasks and continuous improvement initiatives. This hybrid role sits within the Commercial Claims department, contributing to efficient, high-quality claim handling. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strong client service and practical support for claim operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up new claims accurately on claims management systems
• Direct claims and incoming enquiries to the appropriate claims handling teams
• Handle customer and broker queries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all claim information is updated correctly
• Assist with administrative tasks across the Commercial Claims department
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team objectives

Key requirements

• A relevant degree or prior experience in Insurance
• Competent IT skills with MS Office and Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude with willingness to learn and develop new skills
