Senior Product Data Analyst - Consumer Growth

Overview

As a Data Analyst in SumUp’s Consumer Bank tribe, you will own insight generation, reporting, and KPI monitoring to inform Product, Finance, and Risk decisions. You’ll partner with an Analytics Engineer to shape the data foundation and ensure trustworthy access for stakeholders. Your analyses and dashboards will drive activation, retention, and credit performance insights at scale. This role offers ownership from day one and a direct impact on product outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own insight generation and reporting for the Consumer Bank tribe using Snowflake and Tableau
• Define and monitor core Consumer Bank KPIs across credit performance, customer behaviour, activation and retention
• Act as primary data partner for cross-functional teams, surfacing trends, anomalies and opportunities
• Support A/B test design, analysis, and clear communication of results
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineer to ensure data models meet analytical needs and enable independent data access

Key requirements

• Strong SQL skills in cloud data warehouse environments (Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar)
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards in Tableau or Looker with used-by-stakeholders outputs
• Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical frameworks and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfort managing multiple workstreams across stakeholder groups with proactive communication
