Finance Manager

Overview

In this role you lead the day-to-day financial management of the charity, ensuring strong controls and insightful reporting to support decision-making. You will produce management accounts, forecasts and financial analysis while supporting budget holders and driving budgeting and reforecasting. You’ll help improve finance systems and processes and contribute to the organisation’s long-term financial sustainability. This is a pivotal role within the Finance and Operations team at SIA, offering cross-functional impact and a clear link to the charity’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations and controls
• Produce management accounts, forecasts and financial analysis
• Support budget holders and lead budgeting and reforecasting

• Contribute to long-term financial sustainability of the charity

Key requirements

• Fully or part-qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Charity finance experience including SORP and payroll

• Monthly and annual accounts
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Finance systems and process improvement
• Payroll knowledge in a charity context
