Associate Technical Application Specialist

Overview

In this role you will help modernise the Transaction Banking Implementation team's ways of working by embedding AI, automation and digital productivity tools. You’ll work within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment to simplify processes, cut manual effort and boost delivery efficiency for the Bank’s largest and most complex clients. You’ll translate opportunities into scalable solutions and collaborate with business and tech stakeholders to drive tangible productivity gains. This is a chance to shape how technology enables client onboarding and efficiency at scale.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI and automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Power Apps) to streamline onboarding processes and reduce manual effort
• Identify opportunities to improve existing workflows and translate them into practical, scalable solutions
• Support a high-performing onboarding team for the Bank’s largest and most complex clients
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver productive, efficient outcomes
• Use strong analytical skills to problem-solve and simplify inefficient processes
• Maintain awareness of risk, controls and data considerations when implementing new tools

Key requirements

• Advanced hands-on experience with AI and automation tools (Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft 365)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proven ability to translate improvement opportunities into practical, scalable solutions
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365 productivity tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across business and technology teams
• Proactive continuous-improvement mindset with curiosity for emerging technologies
