Overview

Executive Director to lead a diverse portfolio of health, care, support and employability services within The Calico Group’s Syncora arm. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure safety, quality and financial sustainability while driving growth and partnerships to improve outcomes for customers and communities. This role shapes future strategy, governance and safeguarding across the region, aligning with the group’s mission to create opportunities and better lives. You will work with regulators, Boards and senior stakeholders to foster accountability, inclusion and continuous improvement.

Pay / Benefits

Salary of 115,829 plus 10% car allowance

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership across health, care, support and employability services
Ensure services are safe, high quality, financially sustainable and responsive to changing needs
Shape future growth and strengthen partnerships with local authorities, NHS, commissioners and partners
Champion safeguarding and quality, and deliver positive outcomes for customers and communities
Empower colleagues, promote innovation and foster a culture of accountability and inclusion
Engage with regulators, Boards and senior stakeholders to ensure governance and regulatory compliance

Key requirements

Significant senior leadership experience within health, care, or a related service environment
Track record of leading transformation, development of partnerships and delivering sustainable growth
Ability to combine commercial acumen with strong social purpose
Experience of governance, safeguarding, and working with regulators, Boards and senior stakeholders
Inspiring, values-led leadership with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
