Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and define strategy for environmental assessments and remediation projects
Serve as primary client liaison to maintain strong relationships and high satisfaction
Oversee technical delivery and guide decisions while developing team members
Maintain regular communications with regulators, clients, and internal teams
Articulate risks, challenges, and recommendations clearly
Provide senior review on technical reports and regulatory submittals
Mentor junior staff to foster technical excellence
Demonstrate personal safety leadership on projects
Key requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline
Professional designation (P.Eng., P.Geo or similar) in Nova Scotia
Qualified Professional for ESA in Nova Scotia
Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental remediation and/or reclamation projects
Proven experience providing technical oversight on contaminated site projects
Excellent interpersonal and client management abilities
Strong organizational skills
Proactive, positive attitude in fast-paced environments
Strong understanding of CCME and Atlantic RBCA environmental regulations and guidelines
Experience with regulatory applications and documentation in Nova Scotia
