Planner

Overview

In this Planner role, you will develop and maintain detailed project programmes from pre-construction through completion, ensuring projects run to programme. You will work with project managers, site teams and commercial staff to monitor progress and implement recovery plans when needed. You will produce regular updates and support long- and short-term planning to optimise resources and mitigate risks. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes from pre-construction to completion
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Agents, Engineers and Commercial teams to monitor progress
• Review programme performance to identify delays, risks and opportunities
• Produce regular programme updates, progress reports and meeting materials
• Assist with short-term and long-term planning, including resource and activity forecasting
• Support mitigation strategies and recovery programmes where required

Key requirements

• Previous experience as a Planner in civil engineering, construction or infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of construction planning and project programming
• Experience using P6, Asta Powerproject or similar planning software
• Ability to understand construction methodologies, sequencing and constraints
• Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills
