Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Linux and Windows servers, VMs, containers, and relevant desktops
Administer network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
Design and optimize network topology and storage solutions (ZFS, Ceph, NVMe)
Work on diverse projects such as High Availability VM clusters and bespoke container tools
Contribute to configuration management and automation of routine tasks
Monitor systems, respond to alerts, and help enhance the monitoring platform
Implement and uphold system and network security standards
advise on best practices, focusing on Open Source where feasible
Explore open-source solutions and prototype new technologies to influence architecture

Key requirements

Very comfortable with Linux (preferably Ubuntu/Debian) and Windows environments
Interest in building technology and helping others use it effectively
Experience with general systems administration and user support (phone/desk-side/remote)
Familiarity with Windows enterprise environment and standard applications; Linux or Solaris familiarity
Interest in finance
