In this role you will shape security across the Azure/M365 estate within a purpose‑led organisation undergoing a Microsoft cloud transformation. You will be technically hands‑on with Azure security, CA, Defender and automation, while influencing security controls, risk and design across projects. Acting as a security consultant, you’ll bridge delivery and security operations to secure change portfolios and tooling. The role is based near West Malling with a two‑day‑per‑week on‑site expectation, offering meaningful impact through cloud security leadership.
Responsibilities
Define and evolve security controls for the Azure/M365 estate as it grows
Advise on secure delivery within change initiatives and projects
Bridge project delivery and security operations to ensure compliant implementations
Challenge designs and promote automation to improve security posture
Influence tooling and security approach across the cloud footprint
Engage with stakeholders to align security requirements with business goals
Key requirements
Strong Azure security expertise (Azure AD/CA)
Experience with Defender and Sentinel
Automation experience in security tooling or workflows
Ability to influence risk, controls and design across projects
Security consulting mindset and ability to work across stakeholders
