Financial Reporting Manager

Overview

In this role you will oversee UK accounting, tax and financial reporting for a global sales business, ensuring robust controls and accurate statutory reporting. You will lead the UK accounting function, coordinate intercompany activity, and support tax filings from the US team. The position combines hands-on financial governance with cross-border collaboration, in a fast‑growth environment. You will shape the reporting framework and drive continuous improvement to sustain strong financial governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UK accounting control function and ensure strong balance sheet controls
• Maintain integrity of general ledger balances and reconcile intercompany accounts
• Coordinate intercompany eliminations and cash management for UK entities
• Prepare statutory accounts under UK GAAP (FRS 102) and regional reporting for branches
• Oversee consolidations, stock/inventory accounting, and banking processes
• Support US Corporate Tax team with tax filings and compliance
• Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to the team, including management of direct/indirect reports

Key requirements

• Qualified Accountant with extensive financial accounting and reporting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP (FRS 102), IFRS, JSOX, VAT and tax regulations
