Senior Manager, SAP Finance - Management Accounting (CO)

Overview

In this role you lead a high-performing SAP Finance (CO) team to architect and deliver S/4HANA-enabled transformations for large clients. You’ll apply advanced SAP functionality to meet transformation goals, focusing on finance design and standard practices while mentoring junior staff. You’ll foster strong client relationships and drive practice development and sales support. You’ll work with cutting-edge SAP technology, maintain certifications, and collaborate across global teams to deliver measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of functional consultants on SAP finance solutions for large S/4HANA transformations
• Apply SAP functionality to enable client transformation goals
• Design business processes and map them to SAP capabilities
• Promote standard SAP and assess enhancements using current techniques
• Build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders
• Drive practice development and support sales initiatives
• Provide development and performance feedback to junior staff
• Stay updated on S/4HANA Management Accounting innovations and roadmap
• Work with SAP technology including AI and automation
• Access SAP and professional training (internal and external); attain SAP certification

Key requirements

• Subject matter expert in S/4HANA Finance – Management Accounting (CO) including overhead, profitability, product cost, material ledger
• Strong understanding of management accounting concepts and processes
• Experience designing SAP Enterprise Structure aligned to client organisations
• Leading fit-to-standard workshops and translating requirements into functional designs
• Configuration of multiple SAP S/4HANA modules
• Creating design documentation and functional specifications; QA of team work
• Programme delivery using agile and/or waterfall methodologies
• Operating within project governance: planning, risks, issues, changes
• Strong written and verbal communication with onshore/offshore teams
• Stakeholder management and ability to build professional relationships with leaders
• Experience leveraging SAP Best Practices
• SC Clearance or ability to obtain security clearance for public sector work
• Desirable: ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
• Desirable: Security clearance
• Desirable: experience in both private and public sectors
• Desirable: experience with SAP PaPM
