Business Analyst (One of the biggest investment bank)

Overview

In this Front Office Business Analyst role, you will support a Tier 1 investment bank on a large-scale project focused on CSA/collateral-aware valuation and risk. You’ll work across Fixed Income and Emerging Markets Rates, covering trade capture, valuation, risk, and P&L explanations for interest rate derivatives. The position combines business analysis with a touch of technical insight, aimed at improving trade lifecycle processes. You will help solve complex problems creatively, shaping impactful front-office capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support front-office project delivery with emphasis on CSA/collateral-aware valuation and risk
• Understand and map trade capture, valuation, risk, and P&L processes for interest rate derivatives
• Analyze the trade lifecycle and trade processing within the bank’s infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into solutions
• Apply creative, methodical problem-solving approaches to challenges
• Leverage some technical/development insight to facilitate outcomes

Key requirements

• Strong knowledge of trade capture, valuation, risk and P&L explanations for interest rate derivatives
• Solid understanding of CSA/collateral-aware valuation
• Familiarity with the trade lifecycle and trade processing in investment banks
• Strong mathematical background
• Ability to understand problems and solve them creatively and methodically
• Some technical or development background (preferred but not essential)
