Overview

In this Live-In Caregiver role, you support an elderly client to maintain independence and comfort at home. You work closely with a broader care network to deliver daily personal care, companionship, and practical support, aligning with the client’s preferences and routines. The position offers steady weekly pay, hands-on training, and a structured schedule to foster reliable, ongoing care. You help the client stay engaged, respectful, and safe in a familiar environment.

Pay / Benefits

• 700 per week + 35 meal allowance
• 800 per week if you are a driver and can use your own car
• 200 welcome bonus for experienced Live In Carers
• regular schedule (3 weeks on, 1 week off)
• contribution to travel costs
• holiday pay

Responsibilities

• Bathing and personal grooming support
• Companionship and social engagement
• Mobility assistance
• Light housework and meal preparation
• Medication administration
• Running errands and shopping
• Outings and activity planning
• Assistance with continence care and toilet needs
• Support during transitions and daily routines

Key requirements

• Experience with frail clients and loss of independence
• Proven ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care
• Live-in caregiver setup or willingness to reside with the client
• Experience handling anxiety in clients and supporting their emotional needs
