Hygienist

Overview

In this role you ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic manufacturing environment. You will perform heavy cleaning tasks, sanitize communal areas, and operate cleaning equipment to maintain site standards. You contribute to health, safety, and environmental compliance by following procedures and reporting hazards. This position supports continuous production by keeping facilities well-maintained and secure. You will work with cross-functional teams to uphold quality and safety in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy cleaning duties including floors, walls, glass, and waste removal
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, production areas, and other communal spaces
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and power washers
• Safely handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals per procedures and safety data sheets
• Follow health and safety procedures to prevent damage to equipment, floors, and fixtures
• Remove and dispose of hazardous materials per safety regulations
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report faults or maintenance needs
• Monitor site safety and security, including locking areas
• Notify management of cleaning deficiencies, hazards, or repair needs
• Maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment
