In this role you will act as NEC Supervisor / Project Manager on major infrastructure schemes, guiding on-site delivery and ensuring project outcomes align with contract and client objectives. You will work within our infrastructure team to manage time, cost and quality, while liaising with clients and cross-functional teams. The position offers pathways to senior roles by delivering end-to-end project commissions and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape delivery on highways, utilities and other infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Serve as NEC Supervisor under NEC4 contracts with on-site delivery oversight
Understand and manage project documentation (drawings, specs)
Travel to site to provide a site-based supervisory resource
Chair project meetings and report on progress
Manage compliance to deliver project outcomes across time, cost and quality
Lead client interfaces to ensure objectives are met and projects stay on schedule
Demonstrate knowledge of NEC contracts and contract notices
Possibly lead end-to-end Project Management commissions for large/complex projects
Key requirements
NEC ECC Project Manager accreditation or ability to achieve accreditation
Experience in the construction phase of infrastructure projects (highways, structures, utilities)
Ability to travel to sites and provide on-site supervision
Experience in handling design and project documents to ensure compliance
Strong knowledge of latest legislation, environmental and statutory consents
Good stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience chairing meetings and reporting on project status
Experience with NEC suite of Contracts and Notices
Ideally chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, or RICS
