Audit Director RI

Overview

In this role you will lead the firm’s audit function as Responsible Individual, guiding client delivery and strategic growth. You’ll work with the Partner group while maintaining autonomy over the audit department. You will manage a growing audit team, ensure ISA compliance, and nurture key SME/client relationships. Responsibilities

• Act as Responsible Individual for statutory audits under UK regulation
• Lead, manage and develop a growing audit team
• Oversee audit quality, methodology and ISA/regulatory compliance
• Manage a varied SME/owner-managed client portfolio
• Support business development and growth of the audit portfolio
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as trusted adviser
• Contribute to wider strategic and operational objectives of the firm

Key requirements

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Audit RI status is essential
• Strong background in UK practice audit, especially SME/mid-market
• Experience at Senior Manager, Director or Partner level
• Strong leadership, people management and client-facing skills
• Commercial mindset with a collaborative, hands-on approach
