Overview

As Mandarin-speaking IT Support, you will be the first line of help desk assistance, ensuring smooth IT operations for Europe for a banking environment. You will support daily IT centre activities, monitor systems, and assist with data backups, collaborating with cross-regional teams. The role offers exposure to security-minded operations, incident management, and batch processing in a multinational setting. You will work night shifts on a rotating schedule, contributing to reliable IT services for branches across Europe and Africa.

Responsibilities

• Provide Help Desk first-line support for IT Centre (Europe), handling user management, service requests, and workflow of requests
• Perform first-line maintenance of machine room environment and devices, support second-line engineers in system changes
• Monitor production systems and applications; follow incident management procedures for critical alerts
• Carry out daily operational duties and run batch jobs
• Assist in producing system and network reports for management and branches

Key requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin
• IT support-related experience
• Degree in IT-related field preferred
• Experience in PC support and Windows 10/11 troubleshooting
• Experience with OA systems (MS Office, Outlook, SharePoint, IE, Chrome, Lotus Notes)
• Experience in database management
• Knowledge of information security, cybersecurity and GDPR
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
