Overview

In this role you will provide relationship-led, personalised care to an older client in a Live In capacity. You’ll work within a supportive local team to enhance the client’s quality of life, enabling independence and meaningful daily activities. This position offers comprehensive training, ongoing field support, and a clear pathway to apply your caregiving expertise in a trusted, family-run environment. You will contribute to a warm, respectful care experience that prioritises dignity and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and personal support for an older client
• Engage in activities (e.g., puzzles, walks, cooking) and support interests (e.g., baking)
• Support independent living while respecting client’s privacy and preferences
• Communicate effectively with client and family, and maintain accurate notes
• Follow care plans and health considerations, including medication reminders when needed
• Adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols and PPE guidelines

Key requirements

• Live In care experience (essential)
• Good written and spoken communication in English
• Access to a vehicle for business purposes (preferred)
• Right to work in the UK
• DBS enhanced disclosure
